Role Summary
As a Dispatcher (m/w/d) in the operations monitoring team, you will act as the primary contact during incidents such as disruptions, pipe bursts, or emergencies. Your responsibility is to maintain oversight, efficiently coordinate response efforts, and deploy the appropriate teams promptly to ensure uninterrupted water supply and wastewater management around the clock.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have completed vocational training in a technical field, preferably related to utility services, technical infrastructure, or dispatch coordination. Suitable qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Specialist in water supply or wastewater technology
- Plant mechanic, mechatronics technician, or electrician
- Expertise in civil engineering or pipeline construction
- Experience in technical customer service
- Professionals from emergency call or service control centers
- Security and protection specialists
- Comparable qualifications
Previous experience in technical customer service, control centers, or water and wastewater operations is advantageous. Essential personal qualities include structured work habits, composure under pressure, eagerness to acquire new skills, proficiency in various digital systems, willingness to take responsibility, and the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with customers, even in difficult situations.

- Handling and coordinating fault and emergency reports
- Dispatching and supervising operational teams
- Maintaining clear communication with customers, service providers, and internal departments
- Accurate documentation and tracking of deployments
- Ensuring smooth information flow, even in challenging circumstances

Additional Information
Planned employment start date: From January 1, 2027. Permanent contract. Work location is within Wasserwerke Zwickau GmbH's supply and disposal area.
