Role Overview
The Dispatch Supervisor, also referred to as a Junior Officer, is charged with managing the effective and timely dispatch of goods. The role necessitates coordination among production, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure operations run smoothly, meeting high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules collaboratively with internal departments to optimize routing and reduce delays.
- Proactively track delivery progress, resolving issues promptly to maintain operational flow and customer delight.
- Keep comprehensive and accurate records of dispatch activities for transparency and accountability.
- Work in unison with production, warehousing, and transport teams to improve process efficiency.
- Implement and sustain best practices in dispatch management to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Guide and support the dispatch team to build a high-performance work environment and encourage their professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in logistics and dispatch management.
- Bachelor's degree with specialization in Commerce.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in logistics operations, vendor management, coordination, and auditing.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen.

- Experience with ERP systems, process optimization, and risk management.
Industry Experience
Familiarity with Building Materials, FMCG, Lamination, Manufacturing, Pipes & Fittings, Plastics, and Plywood sectors.
