Job description

About the Role

Join Suryatex Webbing as a Dispatch Executive responsible for overseeing the entire flow of goods within our manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. This full-time position entails managing goods from raw material receipt through to finished product dispatch, ensuring both operational efficiency and accuracy in stock management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the complete dispatch operations including billing, loading, coordinating transport, and managing documentation.
  • Verify incoming material deliveries for quantity and quality compliance.
  • Maintain and update inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods daily.
  • Flag low stock items promptly through updated inventory tracking.
  • Manage internal material movements across stores, production, packing, and dispatch areas.
  • Perform regular physical stock reconciliations against records to identify and report discrepancies with root cause analysis.
  • Monitor dispatch efficiency including turnaround times and transport reliability, escalating recurring issues to management.
  • Maintain key inventory monitoring tools such as stock aging, low-stock alerts, and pending dispatch trackers for proactive issue resolution.
  • Provide weekly summaries of stock health and dispatch status for management review.
  • Train stores and dispatch personnel on proper inventory tracking, stock counting, and material handling protocols.
  • Onboard new team members to standard operating procedures and foster awareness of the importance of accurate tracking.

Candidate Profile

  • Comfortable working on the factory floor and coordinating physically with blue-collar workers.
  • Must possess own vehicle for travel between factory and transporters.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail to detect stock discrepancies.
  • Confident in communication and coordination with transporters, vendors, internal teams, and management.
  • Capable of analyzing data trends beyond basic record keeping.
  • Self-motivated and responsible, able to take ownership of tasks without supervision.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • The role combines desk work (tracker updates, document filing), floor work (stock counting, staff training, loading supervision), and field work (coordination with drivers and transporters, shipping documentation).
  • Dispatch days are dynamic and fast-paced, requiring physical effort and swift decision-making.
  • Close collaboration with production and sales departments is essential.
  • Working hours are generally 9 AM to 6 PM with flexibility based on operational demands.
