Dispatch Controller

About the Role

Step into the central role of coordinating real-time transport operations at Kinetic's brand-new Noosa Depot. As a Dispatch Controller, you'll orchestrate driver and vehicle movements, swiftly address operational incidents, and contribute significantly to providing safe, dependable transit services throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational movements of buses and personnel in alignment with scheduled routes, while also managing requirements like maintenance and fueling.
• Support resource management including delegating resources, overseeing staffing levels, managing planned absences, unplanned absenteeism, and daily employee availability to ensure seamless business operations.
• Ensure compliance with National Fatigue regulations and Enterprise Agreements for all employee work assignments.
• Handle adjustments to employee rosters or timesheets and manage related data or pay queries to guarantee accurate and timely weekly payroll processing.
• Assist with charter service allocations, pricing, and communications in collaboration with the Sales support team.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in monitoring transport networks with meticulous attention to detail is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and communication tools is essential.
• Holding or willingness to obtain an MR or equivalent driver’s license is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving, cooperative teamwork, and decisive decision-making abilities are required.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and quickly adapt to fast-changing situations.
• This position is primarily based at our Noosa Depot, with occasional duties at Caloundra and Marcoola Depots.
