About the Role

At Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc., maintaining a spotless, sanitary environment is essential to our brand. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring our restaurant remains impeccably clean and welcoming for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all company safety and sanitation protocols and training.
• Wash and sanitize all plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils according to Flanigan's sanitation standards.
• Continually clean and sanitize the workspace throughout your shift.
• Keep the kitchen area tidy by sweeping, mopping, and removing any debris from floors.
• Complete assigned tasks including preparation work, opening and closing duties, and aesthetic upkeep duties.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine properly during opening, throughout service, and at closing.
• Frequently stand and walk for the entire shift while performing duties.
• Perform physical actions such as reaching, bending, stooping, and immersing hands in water with cleaning chemicals.
• Safely handle hot plates, pots, pans, and sharp kitchen knives and utensils.
• Support team members as needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Successfully complete and pass the food safety certification program, complying with Flanigan's policies and Florida state regulations.

Physical and Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the shift.
• Capacity to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift and store items on high shelves, coolers, or freezers.
• Work in indoor environments that can be damp and have high temperatures, with occasional outdoor exposure.

Additional Details

• Work a five-day week with two consecutive days off.
• Earn paid vacation: one week after one year, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years of employment.
