Job Overview

As a Dishwasher at our Pompano Beach location, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and stored correctly, contributing to a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans either manually or using dishwashing equipment.
• Organize and store clean kitchenware in their proper locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, and maintaining safety standards.
• Sort and dispose of refuse in designated areas appropriately.
• Comply with sanitation protocols and food safety regulations diligently.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
• Carry out additional kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisors or culinary personnel.

Candidate Requirements

• No strict educational prerequisites; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Previous experience in dishwashing or similar kitchen roles is advantageous.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen atmosphere.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Physical capability to stand for prolonged durations and handle heavy trays or racks.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety standards.
