Overview

Join the renowned Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capital District and become part of a leading hospitality team in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. This role focuses on supporting the culinary operations by efficiently managing dishwashing tasks to ensure a clean and orderly kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machinery effectively to clean dishes and utensils following hotel standards.
• Unload, stack, and return cleaned kitchenware to their designated food service areas.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen zones, which includes emptying trash and general tidying.
• Ensure safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying floors, and transport soiled items to appropriate locations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely while keeping surfaces clean and restocking necessary supplies.
• Assist in setting up equipment and bus stations to support smooth food service, including anticipating event needs and carrying out assigned additional duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No prior professional experience required; however, background in fast food, stewarding, restaurant work, stocking, or housekeeping is advantageous.
• Physical resilience to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, pushing up to 150 pounds, and working in environments that may be noisy, fast-paced, or confined.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks and requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
