Job Location and Schedule

This full-time Dishwasher position is located at COX ENTERPRISES UPA in Sandy Springs, GA. Work shifts are during weekday mornings, with more detailed timings to be communicated in interviews.

Compensation

The pay ranges from $15.75 to $16.25 per hour.

Role Overview

As a Dishwasher supporting Sodexo's kitchen and facility operations, your duties involve maintaining cleanliness, sanitization, and organization in food preparation and service areas. You'll be responsible for cleaning dishes by hand or with a machine, sanitizing equipment and surfaces, handling trash disposal, restocking cleaning supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as assigned. Physical demands are significant, including standing or walking throughout an entire shift (which may exceed 8 hours), bending, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and other routine movements required for sanitation and kitchen organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Clean dishes manually or via dishwasher machines.
• Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor cleanliness.
• Remove waste to designated disposal locations.
• Use appropriate chemicals to clean kitchen equipment ensuring hygiene standards.
• Restock necessary supplies like soap, paper towels, and other cleaning products.
• Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Additional tasks may be assigned based on client or business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No prior work experience required.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety principles.
