Role Overview
As a Dishwasher, you will assist both the Stewarding Supervisor and various restaurant outlets by cleaning and organizing food and beverage service ware efficiently to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort soiled dishes meticulously to ensure proper cleaning via dish or pot washers.
- Operate dish machines, maintaining cleanliness and appropriate water levels per hotel standards.
- Use burnishing machines to maintain a polished finish on silverware; de-tarnish and polish silver items ensuring excellent appearance.
- Promptly cleanse large kitchen equipment such as kettles, skillet tilts, pots, and pans to aid kitchen staff.
- Adhere to attendance policies ensuring consistent availability for scheduled shifts.
- Fulfill additional assigned tasks related to the role as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Understanding of service ware maintenance to support a quality guest experience.
- Physical capability to push/pull carts up to 150 pounds and transport heavy items up to 200 pounds, with or without accommodations.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, adaptable to various audience interactions including supervisors and coworkers.
