Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Dishwasher responsible for managing all dishwashing and sanitation duties to uphold the kitchen’s cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the dishwashing machine correctly.
- Ensure usage of appropriate cleaning chemicals at all times.
- Promptly notify supervisors of any issues with equipment or chemicals.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking and food preparation utensils at specified temperatures.
- Monitor and document dish machine temperatures daily.
- Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment immediately.
- Maintain overall kitchen sanitation by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping floors, and cleaning trash containers.
- Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks according to daily schedules.
- Change dish machine water regularly for optimal cleanliness.
- Clean dish machine components such as jets and curtains after shifts, ensuring the dishwashing station is spotless.
- Adhere strictly to safe food handling procedures.
- Report any safety or sanitation issues to supervisors as they arise.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass mandatory background checks, including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references, as per residential care facility regulations.

Compensation
The pay rate for this position ranges between $18 and $19 per hour.
