Job description
Job Overview
This full-time dishwasher position requires a flexible schedule including weekends. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenware and kitchen areas to ensure smooth dining operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils thoroughly.
- Ensure all dining room chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware are cleaned and ready for use.
- Sanitize kitchen production equipment, work surfaces, and other areas following strict cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Maintain dish room cleanliness, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwashers, and polishing stainless steel surfaces.
- Sweep and mop floors in dish room, kitchen, storage, and related kitchen areas.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must demonstrate initiative and be self-motivated.
- Capable of effective communication within interdisciplinary teams.
- Physically able to perform duties involving sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, and frequent movement during work hours.
- Must be able to lift or carry loads up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 40 pounds.
