Job Summary

The dishwasher is responsible for keeping dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and work areas clean and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dirty dishes either by hand or using dishwashing equipment to ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to established protocols.
• Polish silverware using designated machines, chemical dips, or manual methods to achieve complete sanitation.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Monitor and maintain correct temperatures and chemical levels as per operational standards.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it properly, clean garbage cans by steam cleaning or hosing as needed.
• Assist in transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Perform other duties assigned to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience is required.

Work Schedule and Location

• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• Work location: The Pine School, 12350 Southeast Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, FL 33455.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $16.00.
