Position Overview

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking to immediately fill full-time and part-time Dishwasher roles at Toccoa Falls College, located at 107 Kincaid Drive, Toccoa Falls, GA 30598. Candidates will maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas to uphold food safety standards.

Work Schedule

Shifts are available Monday through Friday with varying hours depending on the full-time or part-time position. Specific scheduling details will be provided during the interview process.

Compensation

The position offers hourly pay between $11.00 and $12.00.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Remove and rinse food residues from dishes manually or prepare them for sanitizing machines, ensuring all items meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Clean pots, pans, and trays meticulously following established procedures to maintain hygiene.
  • Polish silverware utilizing equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand polishing as required, maintaining thorough cleanliness.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols during dishwashing and related activities.
  • Monitor and maintain chemical concentration and temperature levels as specified.
  • Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to meet sanitation standards.
  • Clean food preparation surfaces including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  • Manage waste by emptying trash into designated bins, cleaning garbage cans via steam or hose.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work locations efficiently.
  • Assist with loading and unloading inventory as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience in dishwashing is preferred but not required. Candidates must be capable of performing the essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
