About the Role

The key responsibility involves maintaining a hygienic, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment, which is vital for ensuring superior dining standards and preventing foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the dishwashing and pot-sink stations before meal times.
• Continuously wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils during service and return them to their designated storage areas.
• Adhere to weekly cleaning routines for kitchen spaces and appliances.
• Properly discard trash, boxes, cans, and bottles into specified bins.
• Clean kitchen floors, walk-in refrigerators, and tiled dining zones by sweeping and mopping.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor mats through washing.
• Enforce stringent sanitation guidelines to guarantee a sanitary and safe eating atmosphere.
• Follow established closing protocols daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• Capability to comprehend and act upon written and oral directions.
• Physical ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more.
• Capacity to stand for prolonged durations.
• Willingness to handle hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and potentially contaminated items in accordance with safety regulations.
• Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with working in environments with high heat levels.
