Job Overview
Based in Austin, TX, this full-time dishwasher position plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen to support efficient operations and elevate guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workstations, including setting up the dish machine and server dump station.
- Arrange the three-sink washing area correctly and ensure all mop buckets and mops are clean.
- Maintain adequate stock of clean bus tubs for bussers and inventory cleaning supplies such as detergents and degreasers, replenishing and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Thoroughly wash all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Set cleaned silverware and dishes in designated areas for bussers and return kitchenware to proper storage places.
- Clean and replenish bus tubs and sanitize the dishwasher after use, including turning it off at the end of the shift.
- Prepare hot bleach water for mopping kitchen floors and walk-in areas, perform mopping duties, and disinfect all drains.
- Clean mops, buckets, and related equipment after use to maintain sanitation.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
Physical and ADA Requirements
- Must have the ability to speak, hear, and possess good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Capable of standing for up to eight hours with frequent walking.
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift items up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent use of manual dexterity and coordination with fine motor skills.
- Prepared to work in environments exposed to heat or cold from equipment and moderate to loud noise levels.
- Flexible to work schedules including evenings, holidays, and extended business hours.
