Dishwasher

Position Overview

The Dishwasher role at Suntex Marinas involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of dishware, including dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils, using both manual and machine cleaning techniques. This role also includes keeping the dishwashing area clean and ensuring a safe workspace.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishware and utensils into the dishwashing machine
• Wash and sanitize pans, utensils, and dishes thoroughly
• Regularly empty trash containers to maintain cleanliness
• Keep the work area and kitchen tidy by sweeping and mopping as necessary
• Clean food preparation stations and associated equipment
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Experience in restaurant or customer service is preferred
• Flexibility in work schedule is required, including availability on weekends and holidays during peak seasons

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to lift, carry, and pull up to 30 pounds independently
• Capability to perform frequent hand and arm movements including grasping, fine manipulation, squeezing, and occasional overhead reaching
• Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces as needed
