Role Overview

We are seeking a committed Dish Steward to join our hospitality team at The DeSoto Savannah. The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware while maintaining an organized workspace, contributing positively to our guest and team experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the dish room and dishwashing machinery
• Restock all cleaned items in their designated areas
• Responsible for garbage removal and disposal
• Disassemble, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of each shift
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish storage and other related areas
• Support cleaning efforts in other restaurant areas as directed
• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum high school education preferred
• Experience in a similar dish steward or related role essential
• Capable of working varied hours and shifts flexibly
• Strong multitasking ability and team collaboration skills

Additional Information

Compensation

The compensation rate for this position is $14.00 per hour.
