Role Overview

This position involves providing hands-on, compassionate care to clients with high dependency and physical support requirements, including both males and females. Duties span a range of personal and health-related supports such as mealtime assistance, epilepsy management, full personal care, bowel care/enema administration, and dysphagia support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive personal and high-level care services, including showering, toileting, continence management, hoist transfers, dressing, and assistance with meals, ensuring participant dignity and respect.
  • Respect and promote client choice and independence, actively engaging in their daily routines.
  • Follow the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to provide consistent and reliable support.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely reports using computer systems.
  • Adapt to physically demanding environments and demonstrate resilience while delivering care.
  • Be available for flexible shorter shifts within specified timeframes and reside near Jordan Springs.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Australian working rights and a current NSW Driver Licence (P2 or above).
  • Regular access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and evenings (e.g., 6:00am-10:00am, 2:00pm-10:00pm).
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children Check is mandatory.
  • Applicants with recent overseas residence/work (12+ months in last 10 years) must provide certified international police checks.
  • Proximity to Jordan Springs area is preferred for shift feasibility.

  • Hourly pay starting at $45.28 plus applicable penalty rates.
