About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Talent Management to spearhead our organization's talent-related functions. This pivotal leadership position entails overseeing performance management, succession planning, career advancement, training strategies, and leadership development initiatives that align with our overall human capital goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive talent management strategies consistent with corporate human capital objectives.
- Lead the performance management lifecycle, encompassing KPI establishment, appraisal processes, and the creation of employee development plans.
- Design and maintain succession planning frameworks and career progression paths for critical roles within the organization.
- Direct needs assessments for training, develop corresponding plans, and oversee leadership training and other developmental programs.
- Manage the talent management team's operations, budget oversight, policy formulation, and procedural standards.
- Collaborate extensively with departmental leadership to ensure talent initiatives effectively support business goals.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a cognate discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years’ substantial experience in talent management roles.
- Over 10 years of leadership experience managing talent functions, preferably within the construction sector.
- Holding professional HR certifications such as CIPD, APHRi, or SCP is advantageous.
- Exemplary abilities in leadership, strategic planning, communication, organizational insight, and managing stakeholder relationships.
