About The Trade Desk
The Trade Desk is a leading independent global technology platform for digital advertising, with close to 4,000 employees across over 30 international offices. Our technology enables advertisers to effectively target audiences across diverse open internet channels, including streaming TV, podcasts, mobile applications, and news. We are committed to enhancing transparency, efficiency, and responsibility in advertising, thereby supporting quality journalism, entertainment, and creators globally. Our platform's scale presents unique technical challenges such as handling massive real-time data and maintaining global system reliability. We foster curiosity, welcome diverse perspectives, and promote collaborative learning.
APAC represents one of the most dynamic regions for shaping the future of digital advertising, and we seek a proactive leader to help drive this impact.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and operational builder energized by simplifying complexity, catalyzing momentum in early-stage initiatives, and enabling scalable growth within a fast-evolving commercial environment. This role is ideal for those passionate about aligning strategy with execution and leveraging data to convert ambitions into actionable plans.
Location
This role can be based in Sydney or Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of annual and quarterly planning processes to translate growth goals into actionable plans encompassing segmentation, capacity, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with regional Senior Vice Presidents to develop reliable forecasts and maintain discipline in the sales pipeline to enable confident decision-making.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in workflows to allow teams to focus their efforts on customer engagement, growth, and achieving impact.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to convert important ideas into measurable outcomes.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth while ensuring they are engaged in meaningful work.
- Implement and sustain AI-driven automation to optimize routine workflows, processes, and reporting.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Strategy, preferably within ad tech, SaaS, or digital media industries. A solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem—covering DSPs, SSPs, identity solutions, and measurement—is essential. The candidate should be adept at translating complex challenges into straightforward and practical operating plans and building trusted forecasting models. Experience enabling teams to progress confidently amid ambiguity, even without formal authority, is crucial.
We value curiosity, good judgment, and empathy. You should be comfortable initiating conversations, asking challenging questions constructively, and leading change while bringing others along. Your strength lies not only in improving processes but also in fostering an environment where people and teams excel.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI is expected, alongside a strong ability to convert insights into strategic actions. Comfort in working with senior stakeholders by translating detailed information into clear strategic options is vital.
Why Join Us Now?
The strategic and operational initiatives carried out in APAC in the next 12 to 18 months will greatly influence the region’s growth trajectory for years ahead. This role offers significant ownership, a clear mandate, and a chance to leave a lasting impact by building systems that support team growth, customer success, and business advancement.
