Role Overview

The position of Director, Solutions entails leading a high-performing team supporting multiple sales units across the EMEA region to foster business expansion. This leadership role focuses on aligning product solution strategies with revenue objectives while ensuring smooth coordination across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and drive the product roadmap, overseeing development and integration of storage/server and JBOD systems.
• Formulate and communicate a definitive strategy while collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and business development teams to deliver comprehensive server solutions.
• Utilize deep technical expertise to translate customer needs, market trends, and business goals into technical product specifications for cloud and data center infrastructure.
• Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior executives, engineers, and product marketers, to present solutions, gain insight into challenges, and gather requirements.
• Escalate critical problems to executive management and external vendors for timely resolution.
• Conduct internal and external product training sessions for sales teams and customers.
• Provide tertiary-level customer support internally and externally as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred, accompanied by at least 15 years of practical experience in system/server architecture.
• Proven track record in product marketing and/or product management with responsibility for managing multiple products from inception through development, launch, and phase-out.
• Strong familiarity with computer architecture concepts.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation abilities to effectively engage customers, address inquiries, and collect feedback.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat, and CentOS.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and storage technologies including VMware, VirtualBox, Docker, Kubernetes, and CEPH.
