Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and delivery leaders to oversee technology end-to-end for a core platform.
• Own the lifecycle of products from architecture and design through development, testing, and operational support.
• Define and implement engineering strategies, technical roadmaps, and processes, including CI/CD pipelines, production maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cultivate an innovative and inclusive engineering culture that encourages creative problem-solving, early issue identification, and team collaboration.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, fostering a strong leadership team and effective succession planning for key roles.
• Maintain robust relationships with architects and senior business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience leading and developing software engineering managers and teams within fast-paced, agile environments.
• Strong strategic and technical acumen, including experience in defining technical strategies, managing long-term roadmaps, and making critical technology and platform decisions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating large-scale, mission-critical platforms.
• Expertise with cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud, including infrastructure management, site reliability engineering practices, and disaster recovery planning.
• Dedication to operational excellence for secure, resilient, and cost-effective production systems with strong incident response capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and advocate for engineering needs.
• Enthusiastic about agile methodologies with a culture of continuous learning and scalable platform development.
