Director - Management Consulting

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead and structure complex consultancy projects in partnership with Managing Directors.
• Apply advanced consulting skills to manage analytical tasks, creating insightful recommendations and producing detailed client deliverables.
• Develop strategic recommendations from initial hypotheses through refinement and validation stages with senior colleagues and clients.
• Manage daily activities of consulting teams, including planning workloads, delegating assignments, coaching, and promoting junior staff development.
• Drive business development by identifying client opportunities, contributing to thought leadership, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and assuring successful project outcomes, extending relationships beyond individual engagements.
• Lead client meetings and workshops effectively to communicate complex ideas to senior audiences.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, or a related advisory field.
• Proven experience leading complex client projects and strategic programs.
• Track record of managing consulting teams and delivering superior client outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder management, influence, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience cultivating and managing senior client relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Sound commercial judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Experience in business development activities such as proposal creation, thought leadership, and client pitching.
• Exposure to public sector or sovereign-linked organizations.
• Additional language skills at a professional communication level.
