Director, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Director, Fund Accounting to join our Investor Services Client Platform team based in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of the EMEA Fund Accounting Operations organization, managing NAV production, pricing, controls, and client deliverables for a major global client.
• Serve as the primary EMEA Fund Accounting Operations representative for a single key client, nurturing senior stakeholder relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Oversee the full Fund Accounting lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence in NAV production and valuation controls.
• Collaborate closely with global internal teams including Product, Technology, Risk, Middle Office, and Functional Utilities to align processes and resolve cross-functional challenges.
• Lead onboarding processes, fund conversions, and new product launches, ensuring operational preparedness.
• Enhance control frameworks and promote a strong risk culture by managing audit interactions and addressing operational risk issues.
• Advocate for digital transformation by encouraging use of automation, data-driven approaches, and AI-based tools to boost efficiency and resilience.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational issues, guiding resolution and communications swiftly and transparently.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive expertise in Fund Accounting, including NAV production, valuation techniques, complex instrument handling, and accounting standards across mutual funds, ETFs, and alternatives.
• Proven experience in leading large, high-performing operational teams with an emphasis on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong client management skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and managing complex priorities.
• Ability to work effectively across global matrix organizations, partnering to resolve issues and align strategies.
• A control-oriented mindset with advanced analytical skills for data interpretation and sustainable risk-sensitive solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to present to leadership, mentor teams, and clarify complex topics.
• Adaptability and resilience to juggle multiple deadlines and evolving client demands.
• Self-motivation coupled with sound independence and appropriate escalation judgment.
• Enthusiasm and commitment towards operational excellence and leading teams through change.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are preferable.
