Overview
The Director of Asset Application Operations is tasked with overseeing the seamless operation, configuration, governance, and ongoing accessibility of asset and park applications throughout the Qiddiya entertainment portfolio. This encompasses management of systems such as Vista and VGS ticketing and point-of-sale platforms, Maximo, ERD/Yardi, and all related park and complex applications, ensuring stable system availability, accurate data management, revenue integrity, and compliance with safety, leasing, and PCI DSS standards.
Key Duties
- Supervise daily operations for ticketing, admissions, and POS platforms across Qiddiya's venues.
- Manage product pricing, capacity settings, promotional activities, and season pass configurations via structured change control.
- Ensure seamless integrations between ticketing, POS, access control, CRM, payment gateways, and ERP systems.
- Coordinate daily revenue reconciliations between ticketing/POS systems and Finance.
- Maintain PCI DSS compliance related to payment processing and cardholder data safeguarding.
- Prepare and lead peak event readiness including load testing and command center operations for major occasions.
- Administer Maximo and ERD/Yardi platforms that support maintenance and leasing functionalities.
- Verify accuracy of work orders, preventive maintenance plans, asset hierarchies, tenant data, and lease agreements.
- Maintain standardized master data for assets, locations, tenants, and contracts.
- Plan release schedules and manage outage windows to reduce operational impact.
- Oversee a broad application portfolio including F&B and retail POS, access control, RFID and cashless systems, lockers, virtual queuing, ride operations, and guest mobile applications.
- Implement and monitor venue-specific SLAs and the overall application support model.
- Coordinate incident management and operational support during events in liaison with Park Operations.
- Ensure readiness of applications for seasonal cycles, new attractions, and venue launches through onboarding, integration testing, and post-launch support.
- Manage QHSE application checklists, incident logs, and ensure corrective measures are tracked.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation including SOPs, operational controls, and evidentiary records.
- Track statutory inspections, certifications, renewals, and maintain compliance dashboards.
- Collaborate actively with Safety and Engineering teams to improve workflows and compliance operations.
- Monitor KPIs related to asset downtime, maintenance backlogs, lease performance, revenue reconciliation, and SLA adherence.
- Conduct reconciliation and investigation of ERD revenue discrepancies with Finance.
- Administer application governance through controls over access, change management, and data quality.
- Keep operational documentation, knowledge bases, and support procedures updated.
- Manage vendor support queues, ensuring prioritization aligns with business criticality.
- Deliver training and operational guidance on inspections, work orders, lease amendments, and renewals.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), including approvals and ensuring release preparedness.
- Monitor vendor service level agreements (SLAs), escalation procedures, and coordination across support teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in managing asset, park, or ticketing application operations.
- ITIL certification or equivalent is required.
- Proficient with Maximo and ERD/Yardi systems.
- Experienced with Vista and VGS ticketing and point-of-sale platforms.
- Strong understanding of integration between ticketing, access control, CRM, ERP, and payment platforms.
- Knowledgeable in PCI DSS standards, revenue reconciliation techniques, and audit compliance requirements.
- Experienced in managing high-pressure major incidents, 24/7 operational environments, and event preparedness.
- Familiar with QHSE processes, vendor relations, and SLA governance.
- Background in entertainment, theme parks, or real estate sectors is advantageous.
