Director, Analytics & Decision Sciences

Role Overview

Based in Cambodia, this senior leadership role reports directly to executive management. The successful candidate will steer the transformation of a leading Cambodian corporation into a data-driven, AI-powered entity. This involves assembling and guiding a multidisciplinary team specializing in data science, AI engineering, and business intelligence, with the objective of establishing the foremost analytics and decision science capability in the country. Candidates with experience in IT or telecommunications are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's analytics and AI strategy on an enterprise-wide level.
• Create predictive models to enhance customer retention, increase revenues, and improve operational effectiveness.
• Drive the enterprise AI transformation, including adoption of Generative AI and agentic AI technologies.
• Set up data governance and business intelligence frameworks alongside executive-level reporting systems.
• Recruit, cultivate, and mentor local talent in analytics.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience at a senior level within analytics, decision sciences, or AI domains.
• Professional background in IT, technology, or similarly data-centric sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling, and enterprise-scale applied statistics.
• Possession of an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline; PhD holders are preferred though not mandatory.
