Role Overview
Visa seeks an experienced leader for the Acceptance Solutions sales team, focused on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman (KBO) markets. This role targets growing adoption of Visa's acceptance solutions and value-added services within some of the region's most vibrant payment ecosystems. Key clients include acquirers, enterprise merchants, payment facilitators, marketplaces, and software vendors leveraging Visa products in their offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for acceptance solutions in KBO, prioritizing key clients, market segments, and product areas.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with seller-centric customers such as acquirers, large merchants, payment facilitators, marketplaces, software developers, and payment tech partners.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by focusing on client retention, renewals, expansions, and opening new direct and referral sales channels.
- Collaborate closely with Visa Country Managers and cross-functional teams including Product, Sales Engineering, Finance, Risk, Legal, Pricing, Business Planning, Go-to-Market, Sales Enablement, and Operations to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Develop and manage a robust regional sales pipeline aligned with yearly and multi-year revenue goals, market account plans, and transparent business performance metrics.
- Gather insights on local client needs, seller use cases, and market demands to influence product development, solution design, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Apply Visa's sales methodologies focused on understanding client success definitions and aligning offerings to commercial and operational objectives.
- Monitor evolving market landscapes and proactively suggest innovative approaches to expand the acceptance solutions business within the cluster.
Work Setting
This is a hybrid role requiring the employee to be onsite at least three days per week, with specific office attendance expectations defined by the Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant work experience or advanced degree with 6+ years relevant experience.
- Preferred: Over 10 years in enterprise or solution sales, strategic account management, or business development within the payments domain.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the payments ecosystem covering acceptance, acquiring, merchant services, digital commerce, payment facilitation, marketplaces, software providers, and payment technology platforms.
- Track record managing complex, high-value client accounts with senior stakeholder engagement, multi-party sales cycles, contract negotiations, renewals, and account growth efforts.
- Experience in creating and executing go-to-market strategies, account plans, sales initiatives, and client engagement across multiple countries or segments.
- Strong business and financial acumen to evaluate opportunities, develop business cases, analyze performance metrics, and link client needs to tangible outcomes.
- Capability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed organizations with teams in product development, sales engineering, legal, finance, risk, and pricing to drive opportunity closure.
- Proactive, organized, solution-driven mindset with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
