Digital Product Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Product Manager based in Kolkata to lead the design, development, and deployment of technological solutions tailored for the Supply Chain planning process at Exide Industries Limited. The ideal candidate will work across business units and with external vendors to digitally transform business operations through innovative software solutions, including implementing the Blue Yonder Supply Chain platform and integrating it with existing systems like SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the technology stack supporting Demand, Dispatch, and Production processes in Supply Chain planning.
• Partner with cross-functional teams from technology, design, and business to deploy vendor solutions enhancing digital workflows.
• Convert business requirements into clear technical blueprints for supplier engagement.
• Advance technical expertise in Blue Yonder platform, aiming for certification across various supply chain modules and proficiency in SQL scripting.
• Own resolution of data issues, collaborating with data warehousing, business, and IT teams to maintain data integrity and master data management.
• Ensure accurate input of demand plans and inventory norms, providing user assistance as needed.
• Guarantee smooth automatic flow of dispatch orders from Blue Yonder to SAP and provide operational support to users.
• Oversee optimized production and procurement planning aligned with capacity, making weekly production schedules accessible and supporting users.
• Drive critical KPIs including Forecast Accuracy, Dispatch Plan Compliance, Production Plan Compliance, and direct dispatch rate improvements.
• Track additional KPIs such as number of tools or features launched, bug reduction, software uptime, response times, and improvements in procurement efficiency and quality.
• Lead the end-to-end digitization of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) process, encompassing product conceptualization, RFQ workflows, cost estimation, APQP, E-BOM, M-BOM, and SAP integration.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). An MBA and/or a Masters or certification in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Preferred work experience: 4 to 5 years in related roles.
• Technical knowledge of SQL and SAP MM module is an advantage.
• Functional and implementation experience with Blue Yonder solutions; familiarity with PLM product implementation is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem-solver capable of working effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical solutions clearly and professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and backgrounds.
