About the Role

This position is designated exclusively for Saudi nationals as the Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Section Head. The role involves leading and managing IT governance, risk, and compliance practices for digital systems. The objective is to ensure comprehensive risk supervision, readiness for audits, and full compliance with policies and regulations by embedding GRC frameworks in IT processes, managing third-party risks, and providing thorough reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and controls aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Maintain updated governance practices and deliver structured compliance reports to higher management.
  • Lead enterprise-level IT risk assessments, ensuring risk ownership, remediation strategies, and prioritization of vulnerabilities by business impact.
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to address risks and foster a risk-aware culture within IT organizations.
  • Manage compliance frameworks like ISO, NCA, GDPR; ensure platforms are prepared for audits, lead control testing, gap analyses, and remediation efforts.
  • Coordinate responses to internal and external audits and maintain well-organized evidence repositories.
  • Oversee third-party and vendor risk evaluations, embedding risk-based clauses, and monitoring adherence through SLAs and certifications.
  • Dashboard development to monitor risk posture, audit findings, compliance status, and remediation progress, with regular updates to governance committees.
  • Drive continuous improvement of GRC practices through benchmarking and maturity assessments.
  • Support day-to-day monitoring for policy compliance and identify enhancement opportunities considering leading practices and cost efficiencies.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach subordinates, prioritize tasks, assign responsibilities, and cultivate a high-performance work culture aligned with company values.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • Preferred additional certifications in audit and assurance plus expertise in risk management, KPI-P, compliance, and internal control frameworks.
