About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Application Subject Matter Expert to offer comprehensive technical expertise, production assistance, governance, and ongoing enhancement for enterprise digital platforms. These include customer-facing websites, mobile apps, APIs, and supporting systems. The role ensures application availability, performance, stability, security, adherence to SLA/KPI, and readiness for operations while collaborating closely with business, technology, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical SME and escalation contact for digital application issues, production challenges, and user-impacting incidents.
  • Provide comprehensive support for websites, mobile applications, APIs, middleware, CIAM/SSO, and enterprise integrations.
  • Maintain application uptime, optimize performance, manage capacity, ensure stability, and keep systems operationally prepared.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems across technologies such as WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OpenShift, Java, SQL, Linux, JMS/MQ, LDAP, and ForgeRock CIAM/SSO.
  • Support WebCenter Sites (WCS) via configuration, publishing, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
  • Analyze performance concerns spanning applications, middleware, databases, networks, messaging, and integration layers.
  • Support technologies including APIGEE, payment gateways, SOAP/REST services, TIBCO, billing platforms, and enterprise integrations.
  • Monitor application health using tools like Kibana/ELK, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
  • Manage deployments, migrations, patches, upgrades, SSL certificates, and configuration adjustments.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting efforts during Incident, Problem, Change, and Major Incident Management processes.
  • Prepare Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to solve complex technical problems.
  • Support security audits, compliance checks, vulnerability remedies, RFI/RFP participation, technical evaluations, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Promote automation, enhance monitoring systems, drive modernization, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in 24/7 production support and critical incident escalation duties.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise application and digital platform support.
  • Proficient hands-on knowledge of WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OpenShift, Java, SQL, Linux, JMS/MQ, LDAP.
  • Experience working with WebCenter Sites (WCS), ForgeRock CIAM, Single Sign-On (SSO), and enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, billing systems, message queuing platforms, and digital customer journeys.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities including JVM diagnostics, log and heap/thread dump analysis, SQL query optimization, network trace evaluation, and application performance tuning.
  • Experience using monitoring solutions such as Kibana/ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of APIGEE, SOAP/REST web services, React, Next.js, Node.js, and TIBCO middleware.
  • Skilled with Linux command line and shell scripting.
  • Knowledgeable in Incident, Problem, and Change Management methodologies.
  • Experience overseeing deployments, migrations, patches, and application version upgrades.
  • Awareness of standards and compliance requirements including PCI DSS, SOX, Vulnerability Assessments (VAPT), Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST), security flaws, and audit protocols.
  • Experience with vendor relationship management, technical assessments, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and RFI/RFP processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and mentoring skills to guide technical teams.
  • Availability and readiness to support a 24x7 operational support environment.
