Die Setter

Overview

Join the Pennex team as a Die Setter at our Leetonia, OH facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and configure tooling based on the extrusion schedule to ensure optimized efficiency and productivity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate dies are placed in the die ovens at each press according to the production plan.
• Manage die transfers to and from the inventory system.
• Efficiently recycle defective dies.
• Clean dies by immersing them in caustic solutions to remove aluminum residues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality workmanship.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Physical ability to lift and transport heavy tools and equipment.
• Flexibility to work in diverse environments including indoor and outdoor settings and various weather conditions.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude towards colleagues and customers.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship.
• Dependable attendance is required.

Compensation

The salary for this position is set at $19.50 per hour, with pay depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Confidentiality agreements are required.
