Role Overview
We seek a DevSecAIOps Engineer who views infrastructure management as a disciplined engineering practice, taking full ownership of areas such as reliability, security, automation, and operational excellence in production environments. While years of experience are not the primary criterion, a deep understanding and high-quality execution are essential.
Key Expectations and Expertise
- Proficient foundational knowledge of Linux systems, networking concepts, DNS, TLS protocols, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
- Practical hands-on skills with containerization technologies including Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Operational experience managing PostgreSQL databases in live production settings encompassing availability maintenance, backup strategies, recovery processes, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code methodologies, particularly utilizing Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implementing comprehensive observability through monitoring, metrics collection, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of secrets management practices and access control to safeguard sensitive information.
- Methodical troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in production systems.
- Awareness of cybersecurity threats relevant to infrastructure and strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Knowledge of high availability architectures, data backups, disaster recovery planning, and incident response protocols.
- Ability to integrate and leverage AI technologies extensively while maintaining operational control and security.
