Role Overview
We invite a skilled DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This role entails designing, automating, and enhancing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines with an emphasis on system availability, reliability, security, and automation. You will provide support to development and database teams, manage infrastructure resilience, and optimize system performance across modern tech ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, sustain, and improve company-aligned CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure and configuration automation extensively.
- Assist teams including DBAs and Developers with infrastructure needs.
- Ensure infrastructure reliability and high availability.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Support testing of pipelines and automation workflows.
- Manage and refine monitoring systems to ensure system health.
- Engage in team learning and actively contribute to technological growth.
- Operate with an agile mindset providing transparency on progress and deliverables.
- Monitor system performance and enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems such as CentOS and Debian.
- Understanding of infrastructure automation principles and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with deployment methodologies including red/green, canary, and shadow deployments to maintain system stability during feature rollouts.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins.
- Experience utilizing AWS cloud services supporting various architecture styles (Event-driven, Monolith, Microservices).
- Knowledge of network protocols, proxy, and load balancing covering all layers of the ISO/OSI model.
- Solid experience in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Istio for deployment and service mesh management.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Competency in configuration management with Ansible and Bash scripting.
- Experience working in environments that demand high availability and high performance.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka.
- Understanding of in-memory data caching solutions including Redis.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analytics platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, VictoriaLogs, and VictoriaMetrics.
- Awareness of security best practices in infrastructure management.
- Experience deploying and building Java applications; working knowledge of the Tomcat server.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
