DevOps Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Lead with substantial experience to manage and automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing Azure DevOps and related tools. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in DevOps methodologies, containerization, build pipeline security, and agile processes to drive software delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using Azure DevOps.
• Manage DevOps workflows, including setup and configuration of Jenkins, GIT repositories, Nexus repositories, and monitoring solutions.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker and demonstrate familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration.
• Integrate security and quality scans into the build and deployment pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
• Oversee artifact lifecycle, defect tracking, and coordinate application flow management in both Waterfall and Agile environments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 10 to 12 years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus of 4 to 6 years in DevOps roles.
• In-depth expertise with automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience managing Jenkins pipelines, GIT version control, Nexus repository management, and associated monitoring tools.
• Proficient with container technologies such as Docker and a working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating security scans and quality checks directly into build pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Previous involvement in banking domain projects, particularly with payment systems.
• Functional knowledge of Payments domain processes.
• Development skills in .NET technologies are an added advantage.
