About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for various enterprise systems. This role offers a unique chance to innovate by building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure while continuously enhancing development and operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support scalable infrastructure environments for development, testing, and production stages.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to optimize build, deployment, and release processes.
- Oversee software deployment activities and implementations within client ecosystems.
- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively improve availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Apply and uphold configuration management standards across diverse environments.
- Administer containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
- Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve challenges related to infrastructure, deployment, and system performance.
- Lead automation efforts to maximize operational efficiency and minimize manual interventions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in DevOps technologies, cloud platforms, and industry standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 2 to 5 years in roles related to DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycles combined with DevOps methodologies.
- Direct experience with major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or equivalent languages.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar solutions.
- Strong background in containerization and orchestration, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of networking principles like TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
- Excellent analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
- Strong communication skills coupled with effective stakeholder management.
- Self-driven yet a collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of Agile development and delivery practices.
- Working experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Education
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
