DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related scientific fields. This role demands a minimum of eight years of professional experience in DevOps engineering or application services, with a strong emphasis on AI-enhanced productivity and process automation.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Proficiencies

• Leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot to boost development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
• Possess foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts including prompt engineering and human-AI collaborative workflows.
• Evaluate AI-produced outputs for their correctness, security, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI solutions and automation in current workflows.
• Demonstrate proficiency in database scripting and concepts, with familiarity in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in Git for version control and code management.
• Hands-on experience with the Java technology stack, specifically within the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of ELK stack components for logging.
• Strong command of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience utilizing Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for IT service management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Atlassian Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab runners is advantageous.
• Understanding of asynchronous architectures and message brokering using tools like Kafka.
• Exposure to cloud operations on platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
