Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proficient DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on architecting, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable, dependable infrastructure supporting AI model deployment and continuous delivery pipelines. You will collaborate tightly with development teams to optimize operations and streamline deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to enhance development workflows.
• Architect scalable infrastructure solutions for AI model lifecycle management.
• Automate infrastructure setup and configuration utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud and on-premises resources ensuring scalability and cost-effective operation.
• Oversee and refine queuing mechanisms and real-time streaming systems for AI applications.
• Monitor production environments, swiftly diagnosing and resolving system performance issues.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Deploy extensive monitoring for both system health metrics and machine learning model effectiveness.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews to enhance system reliability.
• Coordinate with development and quality assurance teams to deliver seamless feature rollouts into production.
• Advocate and uphold best practices in system design, security protocols, and performance optimization.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting production system availability.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres to established security and compliance standards such as SOC2 and ISO27001.
• Manage sensitive credentials securely using Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with cloud service platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Skilled in container technologies and orchestration frameworks, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experienced with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Familiar with monitoring and observability solutions like Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or PagerDuty.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, and firewall management.
• Knowledgeable about real-time streaming architectures applied to AI and data-intensive systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, notably Terraform or Pulumi.
• Understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Exposure to database scaling and management including VectorDBs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Prior experience managing environments with high production traffic.
