DevOps Engineer with German Language Skills (GCP Focus)

Position Overview

Join our team near Munich as a motivated individual eager to expand your current IT expertise and become an in-house trained DevOps Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS Cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage proactively in learning new technology domains.
• Commit to becoming a specialized expert through company training.
• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Provide consultancy support for IT infrastructure projects.
• Communicate effectively in both German and English languages.

Qualifications

• Completed IT training or degree in computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient with Linux operating systems.
• Competent in at least one scripting language such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with network administration principles.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge combined with programming skills.

Preferred but not mandatory experience

• Exposure to cloud providers, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Experience using CI/CD tools including GIT, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins.
• Understanding of network administration.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus and logging platforms like Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK stack).
