About the Role
We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join HP Wolf Security in Cambridge. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability. This position involves close collaboration with software developers and cloud infrastructure specialists to enhance and support our diverse cloud services.
Key Duties
- Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Developing and managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
- Creating and improving CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment.
- Containerizing applications with Docker and managing container workloads.
- Automating operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting/programming languages.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud environments for enhanced performance and reliability.
- Enhancing observability through logging, metrics, alerting, and operational insights.
- Working with engineering teams to integrate security best practices and platform upgrades.
- Resolving infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong skills in Docker and container technologies.
- Programming or scripting knowledge in at least one language.
- Solid understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and distributed systems.
- Experience supporting production cloud platforms and troubleshooting issues effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Terragrunt.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
- Familiarity with AWS ECS or other container orchestration platforms.
- Exposure to Azure or multi-cloud environments.
- Background in supporting large-scale cloud services.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
- A strong commitment to automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Work Environment and Location
