DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to enhance application development and manage infrastructure operations. The role entails implementing automation strategies, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging cloud-native solutions, and maintaining platform reliability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams from development, testing, security, and business units to facilitate streamlined software releases and ensure stable live environments.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 8 years experience in DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Experience using source control platforms like Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Competent in scripting languages including Shell scripting, Python, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security best practices.
