Overview
Join U-Haul as a Detail Specialist to maintain and enhance the appearance of the newest trucks and trailers in our fleet. This role offers a chance to begin a thriving career, learning on the job and progressing within the company. Our fleet is the largest in the industry, and we seek dedicated individuals to ensure our equipment always looks its best for customers.
As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive Technician Training Program featuring courses from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. We provide all necessary tools and training and foster a family-like environment supported by experienced team members.
Primary Duties
- Clean and polish trucks and trailers to maintain top condition.
- Prepare equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and handling damaged units for sale.
- Adhere to industry-standard safety protocols and use appropriate safety gear.
- Operate within a production line environment.
- Support other areas as directed by supervisors, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
