About the Role
U-Haul is seeking dedicated Detail Specialists to maintain the cleanliness and condition of the largest fleet of trucks and trailers in the industry. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to start and grow a career with on-the-job learning and advancement possibilities into various Company roles. Detailers work together to keep vehicles in top shape, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and polish trucks and trailers to maintain a high standard of appearance.
- Prepare equipment that is leaving the fleet for sale by removing decals and addressing any damage.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use industry-standard safety equipment.
- Operate efficiently within a production line setup.
- Assist in other operational areas as directed by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently when needed.
- Consistent attendance and reliability are essential.
