Design Verification Engineer

Position Overview

Black Sesame Technologies is inviting enthusiastic and meticulous engineers to join as Design Verification Engineers. The candidate will develop industry-leading verification platforms and methodologies to ensure the chips achieve superior functionality and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Create verification environments and test scenarios utilizing SystemVerilog and UVM frameworks based on design specifications and predefined test plans.
• Advocate and execute Formal Property Verification (FPV) on applicable design components.
• Conduct RTL and gate-level simulations, run regression tests, and troubleshoot encountered issues.
• Examine code and functional coverage metrics to discover and resolve coverage gaps.
• Offer suggestions and initiatives aimed at improving verification techniques and workflows.

Qualification and Requirements

• Possess a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related disciplines.
• Prefer candidates with internship or project experience in chip design or verification; fresh graduates with relevant academic or research exposure are welcome.
• Skilled in SystemVerilog and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell for automation and verification tasks.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and adeptness at debugging complex technical problems.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills, with enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
