Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Design Manager specializing in Electrical Engineering to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the electrical design and engineering efforts across various projects, ensuring robust coordination with multiple disciplines, and adherence to all industry and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical design and engineering activities on assigned projects.
- Develop and review designs for both Primary and Secondary Electrical Systems.
- Design earthing and grounding setups, lightning protection solutions, lighting schemes including emergency and control lighting systems.
- Create and evaluate single-line diagrams, schematics, technical specifications, and detailed electrical layouts.
- Manage all aspects of design validation, verification, technical reviews, and approvals.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and diverse project teams to ensure integrated design efforts.
- Coordinate electrical engineering interfaces with teams from Civil, Structural, Architectural, BIM, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Firefighting, CCTV, and Protection disciplines.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Support project execution from initial design development through to final submission.
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to proposal and estimation teams during bid stages.
- Engage actively in design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions to maintain project quality and alignment.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BE / BTech).
- At least 15 years of comprehensive electrical design and engineering experience.
- Minimum of 10 years dedicated to GIS and AIS Substation design and engineering.
- In-depth understanding of Primary and Secondary Electrical Systems.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with strong coordination and team management skills.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in utility and significant infrastructure projects.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
