Opportunity Overview

This position represents a prime chance for an enthusiastic professional with at least five years of relevant construction design expertise looking to advance their career within an internationally growing construction enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee design teams to provide practical, economical, and superior quality solutions.
• Coordinate with site management, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all client design criteria throughout project timelines.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend project goals and formulate effective design plans.
• Show versatility by handling data centre, commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Manage preparation and coordination of design documents, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform design evaluations to proactively detect and mitigate issues.
• Ensure adherence to pertinent regulations, design standards, and codes of practice.
• Maintain strong awareness of commercial, regulatory, and technical influences on project results.
• Encourage innovation, ongoing improvement, and excellence in design execution.

Essential Requirements

• Substantial design management or coordination experience, especially related to Data Centre projects.
• Profound understanding of building regulations, standards, and construction methodologies.
• Advanced skills in interpreting design documents, drawings, and 3D models.
• Proven record managing design schedules and delivering design outputs under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with a main contractor is advantageous.
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Possession of a full Irish Driving Licence.

Education & Experience

• Relevant technical qualification or a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• At least five years of established experience in design coordination or management roles.
