Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Hardware Development Manager based in Changi, Singapore, to lead a team in advancing enterprise-wide technical architecture and integrating next-generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of hardware development engineers, ensuring implementation and maintenance of technical architecture and systems aligned with enterprise goals.
• Organize the team efficiently to address customer inquiries and provide necessary support.
• Distribute assignments related to hardware development to support prospective users.
• Operate within existing business practices, processes, and procedures to meet internal customer requirements and expectations.
• Identify future business opportunities to enhance data storage and retrieval system capabilities fulfilling customer needs.
• Participate in technical review sessions and customer meetings to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Implement human resource strategies to recruit, motivate, and retain a skilled and qualified workforce.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 15 years of experience in power electronics, focusing on high power applications within servers and data centers.
• Knowledge or experience with Battery Backup Units (BBU), energy storage solutions, and rack power systems is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging with diverse cultural backgrounds and various organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required; master's degree or PhD is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, collaborative team player with a competitive drive to achieve industry-leading standards.
