About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and certified Dermatologist for a full-time position based in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of clinical experience in dermatology post-specialization and must fulfill the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) eligibility criteria for licensing in Qatar.

Candidate Profile

• Holds an MBBS or an equivalent primary medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Possesses a recognized postgraduate certificate in Dermatology.
• Has a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience following the postgraduate dermatology qualification.
• Eligible for DHP registration/licensing in Qatar as a Specialist Dermatologist.
• Maintains valid and current medical registration or licensing with the appropriate medical authority.
• Capable of undergoing Primary Source Verification (PSV) for educational and professional credentials.
• Has a Good Standing Certificate from previous licensing bodies.
• Has passed or is prepared to pass the DHP qualifying examination or Prometric test where required.
• Demonstrates strong clinical expertise and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and provide treatment for a variety of dermatological diseases and conditions.
• Perform detailed dermatological consultations and physical examinations.
• Create and carry out individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Handle medical and cosmetic dermatology cases efficiently.
• Execute dermatological procedures in line with qualifications and scope of practice.
• Maintain thorough patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure follow-up care and monitor outcomes diligently.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care and adhere to professional ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members when necessary to optimize patient care.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Prior work experience within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) or Qatar is beneficial.
• Experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments.
• Familiarity with dermatologic procedures including laser treatments.
• Proficient English language skills for effective communication.

Important Licensing Criteria

Candidates must possess both a recognized primary medical degree and a recognized postgraduate dermatology qualification to meet DHP licensing requirements in Qatar.
