Role Overview
Join PSA Singapore as a Deputy Manager in Network Infrastructure, where your technological expertise directly supports one of the busiest ports worldwide. Be part of a team pioneering innovation across private and hybrid cloud, SDN, 5G, edge computing, converged infrastructure, DWDM optical networks, and advanced cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, implementing, and operating critical enterprise network infrastructure supporting 24/7 port activities.
- Collaborate with ICT teams to identify opportunities to enhance network performance and dependability.
- Engage hands-on with advanced networking technologies from global vendors.
- Diagnose network problems and manage incidents to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Participate in automation, monitoring, and optimization to scale network operations efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in network infrastructure, enterprise networking, or operations.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in IP networking, routing, switching, wireless networks, firewall management, VPNs, load balancing, and network security.
- Hands-on familiarity with enterprise-grade network technologies and tools.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage incidents promptly.
- Good communication abilities and adept at liaising with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Show enthusiasm for continual learning to stay updated on emerging tech.
- Professional credentials such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalents are advantageous.
- Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical network environments is preferred.
- Be prepared to contribute 24x7 network support ensuring mission-critical port operations remain uninterrupted.
