Role Overview
The role of Deputy General Manager (DGM) or General Manager (GM) – HR, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for comprehensive HR management. This includes designing and enforcing HR policies, overseeing all stages of the employee lifecycle, managing performance appraisal systems, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances and fostering effective communication between workforce and management.
- Support recruitment and talent acquisition efforts in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Guide leadership teams on strategic people management and workforce planning.
- Implement human resource development programs encompassing training, succession planning, and organizational development to nurture employee growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in senior-level HR management, including policy development and human resource programs.
- Strong command over employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Solid knowledge of labor laws, performance management systems, and organizational development principles.
- A postgraduate qualification such as MBA in Human Resources or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant prior experience in manufacturing or similar industrial settings is advantageous.
- Leadership skills with sound analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven record of creating compliant, inclusive, and high-performing work environments.
