About the Role
As a Depot Administrator working within a dynamic and fast-moving depot environment, you will be responsible for the efficient management of all workshop-related administrative duties. Key tasks include purchasing, keeping records current, and controlling stock levels to uphold a high standard of service delivery to customers.
You will collaborate closely with the Workshop Foreman and Hiredesk Team to coordinate scheduled maintenance, accurately document all equipment hires and returns, and oversee stock control concerning spare parts and fuel supplies. Additionally, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers is essential to secure competitive pricing and service terms. Communicating with customers regarding repair updates and maintenance timelines is also part of this role.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative position, ideally within the hire or construction sector
- Familiarity with maintaining detailed records; experience with Smart Office software will be advantageous
- Skilled in managing supplier partnerships and negotiating contract renewals
- Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional service quality
- Capable of working under pressure whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage workload
